Here are some pictures from our cruise boat. We checked out the boat for the first few days and figured out how it all worked then got some drinks. This was a true hilight of the trip, well worth the money considering its cheaper then a hotel for three nights and you get all the food you can eat 24/7
Nothing beats islands in the sun, we did some scuba diving in the morning then some shopping and exploring in the aftenoon.
The start of any trip is usually pretty exciting especially when you lead it off with Vegas. I was meeting Katie since she was already there with a rugby 7's tournament. We have both been to this town before but this time we knew what we wanted to do and we had more money to do it with. First rule for this Vegas trip is no walking outside during the day unless absolutely necessary. That lasted a pretty short time and sure enought I had some blisters on my feet. Me and sandals on long walks dont mix.
So this time to Vegas we ate out at a few different places and visited almost all of the hotels on the strip. We went to Paris and ate supper at the top of the Eiffel tower, did the Bigshot on the Stratosphere, went to the Mandalay Bay aquarium, went to the Blue Man Group at the Venitian, and some other things that are pretty much obvious Vegas stops. Here are some pictures.
Every trip must have at least one luggage incident and this would be no exception. Some mechanical monster ate my suitcase leaving it with a large torn open pocket and my stuff hanging out. Common procedure in this situation is to yell at a customer service enployee until security comes but I was too tired to give it my full effort so I gave in after only 5 minutes. Bought a used suitcase at the airport for more then a whole set costs anywhere else. Did some fancy packing in the middle of the airport and sent my abused suitcase to a luggage hospital someplace in Texas. Next stop some sleep then the cruise boat.
