Went down to Pike Market to check out the longest market in the USA. Got to see a guy throw a fish 20 feet through the air and caught it on camera too. Reminds me of Old Strathcona with an ocean view mixed with a large farmers market.

Went to the Science Fiction Museam and Experience Music Project in Seattle before heading to Pike Market. Pretty expensive to get into both these places and you cant take any pictures inside. Wow is there alot of stuff in there though. At the SciFi Museam we saw original movie sets and props from all the most famous scifi movies. Darth Vader's helmet, The terminator's hand and head, some props fram star trek like phasors and consoles. Just tonnes and tonnes of things to see. At the Experience Music Project we saw original lyrics written by Pearl Jam and a huge collection of guitars smashed by various bands. Staying at Katie's mom and step dad's house in Vancouver Washington. Nice place, funny dog, good food, great family. Havent been doing much activities in portland which is a nice break. Figured this is the one place we will probably come back to in the future. Went to Best Buy and got another XM radio which accomplishes the one goal I had for this trip. Went downtown to check out the sights. There are alot of bridges in Portland. Something Edmonton could learn from!!

Stopped for a minute to see the coast at Cresent City. The weather wasn't very good and it poured the whole drive. But we made the best of it.
